Bravo Pizza has been in San Francisco since 1963. We are located on the corner of Mission & Geneva. Not only do we serve pizza but we also serve hearty Italian food.
We take pride in our “old school” approach to dining. Our mission has always been to prepare our food with the freshest and finest ingredients available, and to make every visit to Bravo one you will enjoy.

A New Chapter
Keeping the Classics Alive
In January 2026, Bravo Pizza reopened under new owners Sam Hernandez, who grew up in the Excelsior eating Bravo slices, and his best friend Jason Yu. Chef Jimmy Prokopos, son of longtime owner Peter Prokopos, is in the kitchen.
The pizzas are still made from the same hearty dough, now with a new garlic crust option, alongside the Italian and American classics the neighborhood grew up on.
